We are dedicated to empowering marginalized communities across Karnataka through sustainable livelihood programs, health initiatives, quality education, and community development.
Safeguarding is the core responsibility of all developmental organizations to ensure that their staff, affiliates, programs, and operations protect the rights and dignity of all people—especially children and vulnerable adults—allowing everyone to live free from abuse, exploitation, and harm.
In collaboration and with the support of Caritas India and Catholic Relief Services (CRS), KROSS has worked towards mainstreaming safeguarding standards. Together, we have developed a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy draft. The standard 1 of the policy will be officially reviewed, approved, and enacted in the Governing Board meetings.
Establish strong safeguarding policies, systems, and practices across all 14 partner DSSSs in Karnataka.
Promoting stronger commitments to safeguarding at the regional level, ensuring KROSS and its partner DSSSs have strengthened policies, active compliance audits, and solid reporting structures.
Broadly disseminating safeguarding standards at KROSS and DSSS levels to guarantee a safe, welcoming environment that is entirely free from all forms of violations, harassment, or abuse.
