Karnataka Regional Organization for Social Service (KROSS) is a non-profit, secular and non-political Organisation established in 1983. With a tight-knit team of 14 collaborator organizations, we passionately champion the cause of marginalized communities.
We’re more than providers of resources and education; we’re advocates for change, empowering individuals to rewrite their stories. At KROSS, every success story fuels our commitment to nurturing growth and fostering a stronger, more inclusive community.

One organization. Two flagship programs. A wider circle of care and opportunity.
Local knowledge, shared responsibility, and a long-term presence in the communities we serve.
Sparsha and Samrudi are KROSS's two flagship programs: one brings cancer awareness and support closer to communities, while the other strengthens rural livelihoods through women's enterprise and opportunity.
Cancer Awareness & Supportive Care
Sparsha brings early detection, public education, screening camps, counselling, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and financial support for marginalized cancer patients closer to communities. The campaign also promotes nutritious gardens as part of prevention and household well-being.
Women Micro-Enterprises & Training
Samrudi works with rural women through Self-Help Groups and federations, entrepreneurship and skill development, business counselling, and micro-enterprise support. Its activity units include trade, services, animal husbandry, tailoring, handicraft, and other local livelihood opportunities.
